Graham Greene, Twitter and the tragedy of Haiti

Richard Morse is the manager of the Hotel Oloffson in Port au Prince, Haiti. Since the earthquake hit on Tuesday night he has been posting progress reports and passing on messages via Twitter. The very brief posts that he and others are making from the scene give an incredibly vivid picture of events as they unfold, and of the desperation of people trying to trace what has happened to friends and family.
