Martin Amis is planning to leave Britain to live in the United States, partly because he is fed up with public scrutiny and criticism. The author has been trying to sell his family home, close to Regent’s Park in central London, for £4.5m, though it is understood he intends to buy a flat to use on visits to the capital.
