Scotland gained most of devolved regions

Scotland’s economy has improved relative to the rest of the UK, but there is little evidence of a similar acceleration in Wales or Northern Ireland – and Wales may even have fallen back. That is the conclusion of an analysis of the economic impact of devolution conducted by academics at Glasgow University’s Centre for Public Policy for Regions.
