Adams says Stormont deal is unlikely before deadline

Gerry Adams has said he does not expect a breakthrough in the talks to restore power-sharing at Stormont before tomorrow’s new deadline. The British government extended the talks after the DUP and Sinn Fein passed last Thursday’s statutory deadline without reaching a deal on the return of the Stormont executive.
