McCain-Palin ticket needs a game-changer

In the end neither dog barked. Fresh from her disastrous set of interviews with Katie Couric last week, Sarah Palin was at least expected to make one or two stumbles over foreign policy or draw another blank on a substantive domestic issue. But she managed to avoid the obvious pitfalls. She even pronounced Ahmedinejad correctly (on six occasions). Expectations were low. Ms Palin comfortably exceeded them.
