UHI Millennium Institute (UHI) is the only higher education institution based in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, covering 15 sites as far away from each other as Shetland, Lewis, Argyll and Perth. As well as more general vocational courses, such as computing or business studies, UHI offers degrees that reflect the industries and culture of the region, such as aircraft engineering, engineering with renewable energy studies, culture studies of the Highlands and Islands, Gaelic music and culture, marine science, sustainable forestry … and, for outdoors types, adventure tourism management and golf management.
