There is a playful kind of psychedelic rock, when bands sing about yellow submarines or Lewis Carroll. Then there is the raging brainstorm variety, when guitars shriek in elemental confusion and drums flail like the limbs of some weird deep sea creature. White Denim belong in the latter camp.
